I'm posting a video of a beautiful fish caught on the Ohio River, but the odd thing about this is what happened when he tried to get it verified as a record.

This really was confusing to me and it goes to show how much misinformation there can be out there. So the word to the wise, check the facts and verify them if possible.

Fishing and Faith

These days many of us are looking for a little extra income. This is a article about a man that combined his hobby and faith.

His love of fishing and hobby for making lures has given not only him but his family together time since the daughters are helping him make the lures. Tom East is a man of faith and of course a portion of his profits go to the church.

My Sunday school teacher also makes lures, I think I need to research this and do a post on homemade lure makers. Well let me see what I can do!!!

Blue Gills

Remember the old Commercial " give to Mikie, He will anything". Blue gills are almost like Mikie.

They like a wide assortment of bait and they thrive in clear deep water. For their size they are good fighters and fun to catch. Fun to catch and good to eat.

They are fun for kids to catch because of their aggressive nature and hardy tugs they will give the youngsters when they are on the line.
