Remember the old Commercial " give to Mikie, He will anything". Blue gills are almost like Mikie.

They like a wide assortment of bait and they thrive in clear deep water. For their size they are good fighters and fun to catch. Fun to catch and good to eat.

They are fun for kids to catch because of their aggressive nature and hardy tugs they will give the youngsters when they are on the line.
